Like many businesses of late, two major Hollywood companies are coming to Texas.
Both HBO and Netflix have leased spaces in Central Texas, according to a report from the Austin Business Journal. Multiple sources confirmed to the publication that both companies signed separate leases in order to shoot projects in the area.
Netflix has dug its claws into East Austin, signing a lease reported to be between 12 and 18 months for a 20,000-square-foot space. HBO has committed to a much larger piece of real estate – 110,000 square feet – in the Kyle Crossing shopping center off of I-35 in Kyle. HBO’s lease is just for a year.
