Also approved at yesterday’s planning committee meeting was ECF's plans to provide 100 affordable apartments off Peru Street, along with UA92’s revitalisation of Baskerville House to create a business hub.
Salford City Council's planning committee has also been recommended to approve 100 affordable flats from English Cities Fund and UA92's Baskerville House conversion.
Work is anticipated to begin on site early next year to deliver the five- to six-storey apartment block off Peru Street, part of the £2.5bn Salford Crescent masterplan.
