The Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars is an opportunity for students in all fields of study to present their work through oral sessions, posters, artistic exhibits or performances.
Students can start submitting materials in January for the spring issue of Aperture. The journal will focus on the research culture at UK with spotlight articles on student researchers and current topics in research.
Established in 1964 by then-President John Oswald, the Oswald Research and Creativity Competition encourages undergraduate research and creative activities across all fields of study.
With more than 35 programs participating, the Research + Creative Experience Expo will offer a variety of resources and information while bringing research mentors and programs seeking applicants together with interested students to learn about available opportunities.
The student-nominated award recognizes UK faculty who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to mentoring undergraduate researchers, providing exceptional undergraduate research experiences, as well as supporting and promoting undergraduate research initiatives on campus.
