LAWRENCE The University of Kansas Department of Health, Sport & Exercise Sciences welcomes Joseph Cooper, associate professor and J. Keith Motley endowed chair of sport leadership and administration at the University of Massachusetts Boston, as keynote speaker at the 2021 Mawson Scholar Speaker Series lecture. Cooper will present “Anti-Racism, Inclusive Excellence, and the A.R.C. of Justice: A New Paradigm for Sport Leadership.”
The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in the Big 12 Room in the Kansas Union. In-person attendance is limited to 40 individuals, and the lecture will also be available via Zoom.
