Wynn s ability to get 88% of employees vaccinated let to the Nevada Gaming Control Board s decision to allow the company to lift all capacity restrictions at its Wynn and Encore casinos.
Thanks to high employee vaccination rates, Wynn Resorts and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas are among the first Las Vegas Strip operators to resume 100% capacity at their casinos.
In a statement, Wynn Resorts announced that as of May 3, 88% of its Las Vegas employees have been vaccinated against Covid-19. As a result, the company recently received permission from the Nevada Gaming Control Board to begin operating gaming areas at its Wynn and Encore properties at 100% capacity as well as remove plexiglass dividers from all table games and slot machines, effective May 1.

Wynn Resorts, pushing to get more of its employees vaccinated against Covid-19, recently said that the Wynn Las Vegas will now require all staff to either get fully vaccinated or obtain weekly proof of a negative Covid-19 test.
In a video update, Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox said that around 4,000 Wynn Las Vegas employees, or nearly 60% of the staff that have been called back to work, are already vaccinated. The roaring 20s are right around the corner for Las Vegas, and this summer could be extraordinary, said Maddox. However, one of the things that our regulators have said publicly is that in order for the restrictions to continue to be lifted, we need to continue to see increases in vaccination of our staff.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) â Wynn Resorts has announced a new COVID-19 vaccination and testing policy for its employees at Wynn Las Vegas.
Hotel representatives say the policy gives employees the option of either completing a COVID-19 vaccination or obtaining weekly negative COVID-19 tests at their own expense (free testing is available from many locations).
Approximately 60% of Wynn Las Vegas employees have already been vaccinated as of April 8, according to the company.
