Upon approval of the proposed partnership, Tulane Medical Center, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and Tulane Lakeside Hospital will be acquired from HCA Healthcare and will join LCMC Health.

Three boaters were reported missing and were rescued from the waters near Venice by the Coast Guard. Their boat was sinking and they were "fending off sharks."
