Good afternoon. Im tori campbell. New concerns for residents on Treasure Island. Theyve been told in the past that radiation leaks are not a health risk. But this shard is raising new concerns over radioactive safety on the island. Brian flores is live on fresh ure island to let us know what Treasure Island to let us know what concerned families are saying. They certainly are concerned. Weve spoken to many families and this afternoon as well. They say they received letters back in march telling them about the low level radiation that they deemed safe. But what they didnt know is what to think about these radioactive shards found here and with kids running around, thats especially disturbing they say. It looks like a rock. Something perhaps a little kid could pick up. From an internal memo, this shard found earlier this year is considered radioactively dangerous.
