Neuroscientist joins board, attorney certified, consultant wins award

Daniel Deems to its board of trustees. Dr. Deems has more than 30 years of health care experience. He is one of the co-founders and principal at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, a national franchise. Deems also is a clinical assistant professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine, Sarasota campus. He is the author of more than 70 abstracts, publications and book chapters, most relating to balance and the neurobiology of the brain. Deems received his doctorate in physiological psychology and neuroscience at UCLA. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in otolaryngology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
