We begin with new federal hate crime charges in a stabbing attack that shocked jewish communities across the United States. It happened saturday night, the 7th night of hanukkah at a rabbis home in monsey, new york, about 35 miles north of new york city. In federal court today the accused attacker was hit with five charges of hate crimes. One for each of his alleged stabbing victims, all of whom survived.
