Last tuesday was hugely controversial. Then on friday, Donald Trump Tweets this. James coney better hope there are no tapes of our conversations before he sta rts of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press because of that sweet, there are lots of questions and there is growing pressure to say if those tapes exist. This is the republican Lindsey Graham saying you cannot be cute about tapes, if there are any tapes of this conversation they need to be turned over. You would expect the democrats to be critical. Here is senator chuck schumer. Perhaps needless to say, there is no sign of the tapes. There is no sign of an apology. There was no sign of sean spicer, the White House Press secretary earlier, he was asked about this. I made it clear last week that the president has nothing further to say. Does that mean the president will deny. . |i further to say. Does that mean the president will deny. . I said i was very clear. The president will have nothing further. I understa
Divide hurting most . There is a divide within generations. Overi million pensioners in poverty, if you are 16 years old, minimum wage of £4 an hour, if youre older, maybe £7 an hour work, the question we fundamentally have to ask, who is the economy for, there is enough money to not have this generational divide at all. Where do you see the divide hurting most . There is a divide, but i would say, a lot of the issues that are important to young people are important to old people as well. We advocate an approach that gives care to those people that have paid in over the years, as they look back on it, and as they look back on an adulthood that has been one of relative prosperity and giving hope at the same time to a generation that for the first time in many generations is without hope. We have heard just about enough from the politicians for now lets get to the audience before time ticks away from us. You are going to tell us about your experience in foster care. From my experience
Important dont know the questions. First, the leader of the Conservative Party, the Prime Minister, theresa may. Applause. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you. Good evening Prime Minister, yourfirst is from abigail. Why should the public trust you when you have a known track record of broken promises and backtracking during your time as Home Secretary and Prime Minister . Thank you david and thank you. Applause. Thank you for you coming to be an audience tonight, which is an important part of campaign. Let me tell you about some of the things i did as Home Secretary. I said i would ensure we we re secretary. I said i would ensure we were dealing with extremist hate preachers and excluded more than any other before me. I said i would do something about stop and search, i dont think anybody should be stopped and searched because of the colour of their skin. I said i would be tough on crime and ensure our police and Security Services had the powers they need to do theirjob and i gav
That has role so much rolled back, it will not be that high. But i still expect a landslide. About 100 . 80 to 100. I think iain is better as a detailed numbers, but the tories will win this. 50, 75, whatever it is. What is depressing for me is that neither theresa may nor Jeremy Corbyn were particularly strong. They both have big areas of weakness. Stronger than Tim Farron Nick Clegg is worried about his seat tonight, is that right . People said that Sheffield Hallam was going to be lost, but nick won with a substantial majority. Is it conceivable that the lib dems could go backwards this time . At elections, anything is conceivable. People pledged to eat their hats and look like idiots, or run down the street naked of course, anything is plausible. Like my promise in 2010 all that i can do is leave the range of polls, the maximum that theresa may is going to get is ten extra seats, i would have thought. Seriously . i hope there is money on this afterwards paul, in corbyn hq, can ijus

Press the red button on your remote. The leaders dont know the questions. First to face our audience, welcome the leader of the conservative party, Prime Minister, theresa may. [applause] good evening Prime Minister. Your first question is from abigail. Why should the public trust anything you say when you have a known track record of broken . Romises Prime Minister may thank you. Can i just say good evening. Thank you for being in the audience. The things i did as home secretary, i was sure we were dealing with hate speeches. I said i would do something about stop and search. I said i would be tough on crime and i said i would ensure our peace and Security Services have what they need. I gave them those in the legislation that i put through. Ive made sure that we have kept the records of criminals an
