While East Carolina Universityâs womenâs golf player senior Dorthea Forbrigd earned a spot in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Baton Rouge Division I Regional Women s Golf Tournament, after three days of rain, the tournament was officially canceled and ended Forbrigds college career.
The tournament was scheduled for May 10 through May 12 as a 54-hole event at the University Club of Baton Rouge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On May 10, the tournament was postponed to May 11 for a shotgun event. When the tournament was rained out on May 11 as well, the same plans were put in place the morning of May 12.
