The victim was taken to the hospital where he is being worked on at this hour. Dan hausle, 7news. Theres breaking news out of quincy. An explosion at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority sent five people to the hospital. Crews say a fire triggered the blast. You can see the facility right here where an apparent active shooter situation is going on. A spokesman confirming that shots were, indeed, reported fired in that facility about 8 00 this morning. They cannot offer further details at this time. Nonemergency personnel are advised to avoid the area if possible. There is a very heavy police presence. Officials say this explosion happened three floors below ground when something went wrong with a piece of equipment. Firefighters immediately evacuated the building.
