I appreciate you all being here on a drizzly day at providence college. Today i wanted to share with you i think a story and a moment in American History that is one of the, for me, more important moments of the late 19th and early 20th century. Holds a lot of significance in the period of the guilded age and the progressive era. It also happens to be a the subject of my new book.
