今年7月1日，庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会在北京天安门广场举行。中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平发表重要讲话。在这场隆重的庆祝活动中，我校吉林梨树实验站站长李保国、副站长王贵满同时受邀，前往天安门广场参加庆典活动。 李保国是我校土地科学与技术学院的院长，农业部华北耕地保育重点实验室主任，我国土壤学专家。他曾提出和研制了区域水盐运动监测预报系统、干旱地区土壤发育过程模拟系统、区域尺度的随机土壤水分均衡模型，建立了基于GIS的土壤分布式过程模型（水、氮、盐、污染物等）并在黄淮海平原、西北地区区域水土资源管理中得到了应用，提出和初步建立了虚拟农田系统。 2007年起，他一直致力于黑土地的保护工作。2020年7月22日，习近平总书记视察梨树的时候，他应邀向总书记汇报了中国农业
