In a new phase of its 'Dealer or No Dealer' marketing campaign, aftermarket firm Halfords claims motorists are wrongly told to use franchised dealerships to maintain their warranty.
Bosses at Halfords, owner of the UK's largest vehicle servicing network, have rejected the advances of vehicle hire and repair group Redde Northgate because it undervalued the company, reports suggest.
Cycling and motoring chain Halfords is telling motorists they may be paying "over the odds for repairs" and they should use its services with no fear of affecting their car's manufacturer warranty.
