When Ken and Kim Dernovsek met in medical school, they had no idea they would not only be partners in life but in medical practice as well.
It s a story of two people who met while in medical school, married, started a family, and founded a nonprofit known as Universal Chastity Education. The two doctors and world travelers found their home in Pueblo in 1984.
“We’ve lived an interesting life,” Ken said.
The two met while attending the University of Wisconsin, where Kim was on track to become a dermatologist and Ken was making his way into endocrinology.
They ended up at separate medical schools, as Ken stayed at the University of Wisconsin while Kim made her way to University of Minnesota.
