Announced at the end of 2019, another big push for
Gundam fans is almost here as Bandai Visual had set a release date for two box sets to bring out the full fifty-one episode series
Mobile Suit Gundam Victory. The plan is for both sets to arrive on March 26th, 2010, both of which are priced at 20,000 yen each – which is 14,000 yen less than the editions done back in 2015. The sets will include English subtitles and the packaging will be the same unified library design we’ve been seeing recently.
Now that it’s just a couple of weeks away, the full packaging spread for both sets has landed that ties into the recent UC Library style that they’ve been working with.

The
Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 is definitely a classic for a number of reasons and we’ve had varying levels of distribution for it available over the years. The TV series is now available on Crunchyroll in both its original Japanese language with English subtitles as well as its English dubbed form for streaming.
Availability is limited to the North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The series ran from 1979 into 1980 and started a long and generally healthy career for the franchise across numerous reinterpretations and spinoffs. The series was compiled into a group of three films which have largely been considered superior to the TV series by removing the fluff. The show was previously licensed and released in the US through the now-defunct Bandai Entertainment and has since been released by Nozomi Entertainment.

It was revealed as part of an event in November 2018 that several new
Gundam projects are coming up as part of the focus on the Universal Century timeline. One of those was the
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash feature film, which is being done as a movie trilogy that’s based on the 1989 novel trilogy from Yoshiyuki Tomino.
Originally planned for a tentative winter 2020 time period, we learned at the beginning of the year that set it for a July 23rd, 2020 release date for it in Japan. That, of course, got bumped considering the COVID-19 pandemic and last fall the official site has now updated to reveal a May 7th, 2021 debut for the project.
