3 inmates who escaped Merced County Jail arrested, hunt on for 3 others KFSN Share: MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) Authorities have arrested three of the six inmates who escaped from the Merced County jail on Saturday night. Authorities say they tracked two of them - Fabian Cruz Roman and Andres Nunez Rodriguez Jr. - to southern California on Tuesday night. Authorities tracked two of the inmates to the San Diego area in southern California and a third to the Firebaugh area in Fresno County. A third, Edgar Eduardo Ventura, was arrested a few hours earlier in the Firebaugh area in Fresno County.
