We follow that hearing with several round tables to help us understand what disasters cost this country, who pays those costs and whether the problem is Getting Better or worse. Early last year, Ranking Member carson and i introduced the fema format to call for the First Comprehensive assessment of disaster cost and losses in over 20 years.
