COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ryan Terefenko picked up two notable preseason honors on Monday as he was named by US Lacrosse Magazine as a preseason All-American and the nation’s preseason Midfielder of the Year.
Terefenko is among 13 players selected to the preseason All-America team and one of two from the Big Ten Conference.
Terefenko has three times earned All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. He’s played in 52 career games with 139 ground balls – most of any active player on the roster – to go along with 15 goals, 19 assists and 13 caused turnovers. In September, he was selected by the Halifax Thunderbirds in the second round of the National Lacrosse League Draft.
