JACKSONVILLE, Fla A Jacksonville ROTC drill team is expected to participate in Biden s inauguration ceremonies Wednesday.
According to the Presidential Inaugural Committee, all of the Andrew Jackson High School JR Air Force ROTC will be performing in The Inauguration Parade Across America.
This will be alongside many notable artists and other celebrities in the parade including Jon Stewart, New Radicals, Earth Wind & Fire, The Trans Chorus of Los Angeles and many more.

Events on Wednesday, when Joseph R. Biden Jr. takes the oath of office, will have a more celebratory theme.

WASHINGTON President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. will arrive in the nation’s capital on Tuesday evening for an inauguration eve ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool honoring the nearly 400,000 people who have died during the coronavirus pandemic that will be his first priority after he is sworn in the next day.

The program will consist of a variety of holiday favorites, original handbell compositions, and classical transcriptions. The Shoreline Ringers are a community handbell ensemble made up of musicians from all over the state of Connecticut. The group has performed at Carnegie Hall as part of Christmastime in the City concert, with Scott Haney and the Joy for the Kids Concert sponsored by WFSB Channel 3 in Hartford, joined the United States Coast Guard Band as part of their popular Christmas concert, and been featured guest performers at the Boston Handbell Festival in 2008, 2014 and 2019. There will be the virtual Holiday Cheer concert from the United States Coast Guard Band at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The program, available through a Livestream link on the band s Facebook page, includes a variety of carols as well as Morten Lauridsen s O Magnum Mysteris and Franz Biebl s Ave Maria.
Also featured will be soprano/Musician 1st Class Megan Weikleenget singing Adeste Fideles, What Child is This, and three tunes accompanied by the Coast Guard Band Jazz Combo.
