I think its stupid. Well sabrina does not think so her intention is to root out midst contact and to prevent coverups, not to silence whistle blowers. But the leaders think that there is a better way to do that. In the midst of the sex scandal and the loss of three police cleaves, the Police Department will be delaying the police kad mu for a couple of months. This is to insure the class. Its going to give the Department Time to review hiring and recruiting practices. The questions arose in the wake of police scandals. The city will continue with two other Police Academies that were budgeted for this year. We will continue to stay on top of the story on our website, kron4. Com. We have a chart showing how the three share a common link and why the oakland mayor is facing criticism. The Governors Office reached out to the family of the 16 Year Old Girl shot down on an oakland street. She wrote a letter to the governor pleading for help. One thing i want to say is there has been an inclusive form of government which is the sunnis in the north and that is one part of the problem that lets park that for a moment. Lets turn to the iraqi army. Trained by the americans fully equipped brought up to their Numerical Strength very strong and gets fled at the first sign of trouble. Are we being naive in believing that you can meld different tribes, different cultures given the 600 year culture of the region region into one force and expect them to take home an opposition for which a large part of their own army is recruiting . First i dont agree with your introduction and description. Do you think the army did while . No im saying they are not as strong as you are suggesting that they were. This was back in june before they drop their guns and ran. Im saying when they did drop the guns they were full strength, wellequipped and trained by the americans and equipped over period of years and yet when the first sign of trouble they
Employees. We work very hard on a variety of issues. One of which, of course, has been has been the way we wanted to serve our veterans one of our greatest accomplishments in this bill is what we do for them. Veterans Services Organizations came to me and many of the members right here this evening and said, we not only need funding to implement the reforms that were passed by the congress, but we also want you to do this year and a year in advance. We said, we dont do that. They said, you have got to do that. We are concerned with the dysfunction and delay as a strategy in washington that creates chaos for veterans and their survivors. Guess what . We were able to do it. For the First Time Ever we provided funding for this year and one year in advance veterans veterans can count on the disability check, their pension check, a check to help fund the g. I. Bill and that their health care we will be paid for. We also deal with the incredible problem of veterans backlog and put in the mon

President , i spoke yesterday about the funds included in the bill for the state department and foreign operations. I commended members of my office who worked so hard on that. We put important funding for the environment, for aids pr
For representative government. When people at the bottom of the economic ladder feel that the government is not helping them, and in fact may be stacked against them, they will cease to vote or they will turn to the siren song of extreme elements in our society. History proves this to be true. Now, i dont have a cookie cutter answer or solution, but it must include more fair tax laws and trade laws, more job training and restraining, rebuilding our physical infrastructure and manufacturing. The answer to closing the inequality gap must include rebuilding labor unions and collective bargaining. If you trace the line over the last 40 years of the growing economic quality in america and also put that over another line showing the loss in the number of union workers, they are almost identical. I do not believe it is a stretch to say that organized labor, unions, buil
