The U.N. Advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, met in Oslo today with German diplomat Christian Buck, who could reportedly replace her as head of diplomacy for the United Nations Special Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
Egypt kicked off a series of dialogues with political forces in Sudan to help overcome the Sudanese crisis that erupted due to the military coup that toppled the civilian-led government in October.

The work to open the Maltese Consulate in Tripoli is at a very advanced stage as well as that of opening, once again, the Embassy in Libya. This was announced by Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Evarist Bartolo during a meeting with the designate Prime Minister of Libya Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
The Prime Minister designate Abdul Hamid Dbeibah said that Malta has always offered friendship and help to the Libyan people and the Maltese people are regarded as friends.

Abdul Hamid Dbeibah mentioned the need for the resumption of flights between Libya and Malta. This issue is being addressed and Malta will be guided by the EU Authorities.
