Pamela Mathis sworn in as new BLM Taos Field Manager
TAOS, N.M. – The Bureau of Land Management New Mexico has announced the selection of Pamela Mathis as Taos Field Manager. Mathis was sworn into her position by the acting BLM New Mexico State Director Steven Wells during a ceremony held in Taos on April 9.
As the BLM Taos Field Manager, Mathis will oversee the multiple uses of public lands encompassing approximately 594,000 acres and over 1.5 million mineral estate acres dispersed across Colfax, Harding, Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Taos, and Union counties.
“This is my dream job. I’ve wanted to join team Taos for over three years, and I am delighted to have the opportunity. I told the staff that I want to be known for two primary goals – bringing projects over the finish line for our customers and growing people,” Mathis affirmed.
