The Alliance on Surviving Covid 19 and Beyond (ASCAB), led by human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, has condemned the refusal of state governments to access N68billion grant which is meant to uplift over 20million out-of-school kids in the country. Falana in a release on Thursday noted that if the 36 state governments and the Federal Capital Territory before January 15, 2024, fail to access the funds, the ASCAB shall seek an order of mandamus to compel them to do so forthwith.
