The big title match between Japanese wrestling legend Meiko Satomura and WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray has been announced for the March 4 edition of NXT UK on the WWE Network.
The match was confirmed today on NXT UK as the two Superstars participated in a press conference segment to make the match official. Satomura, who recently joined the company to work a coach and in-ring talent, made her in-ring debut last week with a win over Isla Dawn. KLR, who has now held the title for 535 days, confirmed today that she was referring to Satomura last month when she said she now wants to face the best in the world to continue her historic title reign.

Gallus, the longest-reigning NXT UK Tag Team Champions, will defend their titles against The Hunt. Mark Coffey & Wolfgang have been a dominant force since dethroning Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster more than a year ago but face a unique challenge in Primate & Wild Boar. );
Since aligning with the devious Eddie Dennis, The Hunt have looked more vicious than ever. Revealing themselves as the assailants behind the attacks of Andrews & Webster, they also defeated the former NXT UK Tag Team Champions last month with an assist from Dennis.

– The dark storyline with Boa and Xia Li continued during this week’s WWE NXT episode, as seen in the video above. The storyline continues to draw interest from social media. This week’s segment saw the dark mystery woman look on as the ShiFu master ordered Li to punish Boa with strikes. There was blood shown in this segment, but not as much as last week.
This week’s vignette also included the first real look at the face of the mystery woman. There is still no word on who will be revealed behind the hood, but speculation continues to be on NXT Superstar Karen Q, who is recovering from a leg injury, or Japanese legend Meiko Satomura, who was reportedly hired to work the NXT UK brand back in the fall.
NXT UK Women s Champion Kay Lee Ray def. Isla Dawn Landing the same back suplex that she used for a recent win over Xia Brookside, Isla Dawn scored a near-fall against Kay Lee Ray. But The NXT UK Women s Champion regained control with a tornado DDT before wearing The White Witch down with a Kojia Clutch. Blasting Dawn with a superkick, The Scary Queen of Scots put her foe away with a Gory Bomb for an impressive win.
Jack Starz & Levi Muir def. Saxon Huxley in a Handicap Match The unhinged Saxon Huxley pummeled Jack Starz until missing a big elbow drop, allowing Starz to tag in Levi Muir for a barrage of fiery uppercuts. Starz was eventually able to catch the much larger Huxley by surprise with a sunset flip, and with Muir s help, scored a pinfall.
