Royal Marines from a Devonport-based frigate stormed a ship in the Arabian sea carrying more than £11 million worth of drugs.
The ten hour operation saw the British commandos uncover a massive 2.6 tonne of drugs, including heroin, crystal methamphetamine and hashish.
Much of the money earned from the drugs cache is believed to have been linked to terrorism across the Middle East and the rest of Asia, reports The Mirror.

Feb. 9 (UPI) Three U.S. vessels the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island, the guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal and the dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear transited the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Arabian Gulf Monday.
According to the U.S. Marine Corps, the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit will operate alongside regional and coalition partners to support Operations Inherent Resolve and Enduring Freedom.
