So you can tell its going to be a mild afternoon. A big key ingredient with this is those winds that are out of the south and west right now anywhere from 1020 miles an hour sustained. Were going to the low 50s in and around worcester, mid 50s through the Merrimack Valley. In boston the south shore, upper 40s on the cape, the islands i think seeing the lower 50s. Temperatures are in the teens and 20s this morning. And then you factor in those winds and it feels even colder. But right now 23 in boston. 19 in worcester. Were in the mid to upper 20s along parts of the cape. You notice these winds are anywhere from about 58 miles an hour. Not really that much out of the west. But it still gives a wind chill so it feels more like 12 in worcester and 15 degrees right now in boston. Through the afternoon though, were going to warm up into the upper 30s, low 40s. We are looking at a lot of sunshine. And those winds will shift to the south and west which is head towards this evening and into your sunday. Right now ther

One of the reasons why is because were going to have a pretty persistent wind out of the south and west. Just an hour ago these winds were pretty gusty. Right now we have wind gusts up to 22 Miles Per Hour on block island. Those winds are sustained anywhere from 1015 to even 20 miles an hour through the day.
