Kjartan & The Hound Dogs (Trondheim) deliver swinging, sensitive, rowdy and jubilant electric blues with a touch of rock'n roll. In the repertoire we find timeless genre gems from names such as T-Bone Walker and John Lee Hooker, and there is also room for some glimpses from the world of soul music. The band is known for doing varied and exciting concerts that hit both the faithful blues audience and other music lovers.<br />Kjartan Edvardsen is a ring fox from the blues milieu in Northern Norway, and has toured with the now deceased Louisiana legend Lazy Lester. Kjartan sees the contact with the audience as an equally important part of the concerts as his energetic outbursts on vocals and guitar.<br />Edvardsen is now an active artist in the blues milieu in Trondheim. In the last 10 years, he has brought in a dog team of young, yet seasoned musicians. Son Markus Wisth Edvardsen on drums together with bassist Magnus Erlien Riise make up a very strong rhythm section
