Henderson County has 3 new COVID cases after two days in double digits

Henderson County had reported 10 new cases on Monday and 11 on Tuesday. Overall, the GRDHD reported 30 new cases in its seven-county district on Wednesday with 17 of those in Daviess County. Webster County and McLean County had four new cases apiece with Hancock County and Ohio County each having one. Union County did not report any new cases. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 9,684 Henderson County residents (21%) are fully vaccinated and 1,672,364 unique individuals have been vaccinated in Kentucky as of April 20. For Union County, 2,697 residents (19%) are fully vaccinated and 2,818 (22%) Webster County residents are fully vaccinated. The CDC considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they ve been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County recorded 10 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Monday as reported by the Green River District Health Department. Overall, the GRDHD reported 39 new cases in its seven-county district on Friday with 26 of those in Daviess County. McLean County, Union County and Webster County had one new case apiece. Last week, the Green River District saw 243 new cases and five COVID-related deaths. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 9,577 Henderson County residents (21%) are fully vaccinated and 1,660,753 unique individuals have been vaccinated in Kentucky as of April 18. For Union County, 2,675 residents (19%) are fully vaccinated and 2,810 (21%) Webster County residents are fully vaccinated.

No new COVID cases reported in Henderson, Webster; one in Union

HENDERSON, Ky. There were no new COVID-19 cases reported in Henderson or Webster counties on Monday and only one new case in Union County reported by the Green River District Health Department. Overall, the GRDHD reported nine new cases in its seven-county district on Monday with all of the other eight being in Daviess County. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days, dropped to 9.2 as of Sunday afternoon in Henderson County and kept the county in the yellow or community spread level. Webster County remained in the yellow level as its incidence rate dropped to 7.7. Union County also remained in the  yellow level as its incidence rate dropped to 7.0.

COVID-19 update: 8 new cases reported in Henderson; 1 5M vaccinated

HENDERSON, Ky. The Green River District Health Department reported eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Henderson County Saturday, as well as one new case each in Webster and Union counties.  Overall, the GRDHD reported 33 new cases, with 20 in Daviess County, two in Ohio County and one in McLean County. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dropped to 9.5 as of Friday afternoon in Henderson County and moved the county from the orange or accelerated level to the yellow or community spread level. Webster and Union counties are also designated  yellow with incidence rates of 8.8 and 8.9, respectively.

Henderson County, Kentucky, reports 5 new COVID-19 cases

HENDERSON, Ky.   Henderson County recorded five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday, according to the Green River District Health Department, which also reported two new cases in Union County and one in Webster. Overall, the GRDHD reported 21 new cases in its seven-county district on Friday. Daviess County had 10 cases, Ohio County reported two and Hancock had one. McLean County did not report any new cases. The district reported one death, which was discovered during a state audit. Henderson remains in the orange, or accelerated, level on the Kentucky Department for Public Health map, while Union and Webster have moved back to yellow, signaling community spread. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, held at 10.1 in Henderson, while it decreased to 8.9 and 8.8 in Union and Webster Counties, respectively.
