SSS refunds pension loan borrowers April, May payments – Manila Bulletin

Social Security System (MANILA BULLETIN FILE PHOTO) In a statement, SSS President and CEO Aurora Ignacio said the agency has already refunded the April and May 2020 loan payments to more than 56,000 pensioners who borrowed from its Pension Loan Program (PLP) starting December 9. According to Ignacio, those entitled to the refunds are pensioners whose monthly pensions for April and May were deducted under the PLP and are currently amortizing as of the implementation date. With this, pensioners who paid their loan amortizations for April and May 2020 received a two-month refund, while those who only started paying their loan amortizations in May got a one-month refund.
