The North Carolina Child Fatality Task Force released its annual report, highlighting the common causes of death in children ages 0 to 17 in the state. The task force is composed of three committees – Perinatal Health, Unintentional Death Prevention and Intentional Death Prevention – that compile data and create policy proposals for the N.C. General Assembly.
