Various congressional leaders and the president getting set to meet at the white house this hour to work on lastminute negotiations all in an effort to avoid those series of tax increases and spending cuts due to take effect next year. What we hear is the Senate Leaders are there. Speaker boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have yet to arrive, but now were showing you live pictures. Maybe somebody is going to get out of that car, and well see if any of the other leaders will be heading to the white house. This is Speaker Boehner right now heading into the white house. “We are incredibly excited that PSC Biotech Corporation will create 100 new, highly skilled jobs in the pharma sector at the Cross Farm Lane facility, a site that has been vacant for several years,” York County Economic Alliance president and CEO Kevin Schreiber said in the joint press release.
The facility was once owned by Unilife Corp., a maker of wearable drug-delivery systems, which put its headquarters at Cross Farm Lane up for sale in December 2016.
The company and its two U.S. subsidiaries filed for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April 2017.
“My administration is pleased to welcome BioTechnique to join Pennsylvania’s historic manufacturing industry,” said Gov. Wolf. “This relocation comes at a critical time as we move ahead in COVID-19 recovery and will bring dozens of new, good-paying jobs and training opportunities to York County communities.”
