BEIRUT, Nov 26 The UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon said Israeli fire hit one of its patrols in the country’s south yesterday, despite a Hamas-Israel truce largely quietening.
The soldiers from the 122nd Infantry Battalion had a busy time in recent weeks during which Israeli forces traded fire with Hezbollah militants in the area.
Around 55,500 Lebanese are displaced by the clashes between the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and Israeli forces since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war, according to the International Organization for Migration
