Orange Shooting Suspect Remains Incapacitated, Further Delaying Arraignment Law officials were forced to delay the arraignment of an Orange, Calif. mass shooting suspect for the sixth time April 9 as the alleged gunman remains incapacitated. Aminadab Gaxiola Gonzalez, 44, was shot by police March 31 following a mass shooting in Orange that left four people including a nine-year-old boy dead. He was initially to be arraigned April 2, but his inability to communicate prompted a continued delay of criminal proceedings. Prosecutors said April 9 that despite still being incapacitated, Gonzalez has shown signs of improvement. On March 31 around 5:30 p.m., a man used bicycle-type locks to secure iron gates leading to an office building at 202 W. Lincoln Avenue in Orange. He then went inside the building and opened fire inside Unified Homes, a mobile home real estate business.

It appears that a little boy died in his mother s arms as she was trying to save him during this horrific massacre, Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer told a news conference. The bloodshed in Orange, California, about 30 miles (48 km)southeast of central Los Angeles, marked the third deadly mass shooting in the United States in less than a month.
