There is an urgent need to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions. One method of achieving this is through Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). Geological structures that lie offshore under continental shelf seas offer huge CCS storage potential. An emerging marine industry is developing to exploit this potential and national marine monitoring agencies will soon need to consider the potential impacts of this emerging industry. This review of published literature is aimed at generalists responsible for the delivery of national marine monitoring, as well as those involved in the management of the marine environment. It briefly summarises why the emerging offshore CCS industry is needed, how large it may be and what marine infrastructure may be involved. For the purposes of this paper, a hypothetical 20 Mtpa industry has been used to gauge the potential impact of a developing offshore CCS industry. The probability of CO2 leaks from such an industry is low. If they do occur, the spatial scale
these were under lock and key, more than the latest estimate which in turn suggests the latest estimate was, like all that went before it, an exxon valdez, noaa did the infuriating lowball. in a letter to the coast guard, collection, a federal agency. bp is outlining it s revised here what we see are people plan to increase its ability to capture the oil from the well. i ve got some pictures of bp but the company expects this is raking up bird carcasses, separating heads from bodies. a capture number 20,000 to 40,000 barrels a day by the supposedly noaa is saying the end of the month and possibly carcasses will be autopsied to 60,000 to 80,000 barrels a day determine cause of death. by the middle of next month. that s compared to the 15,000 barrels bp is collecting now. admiral allen in charge of the you re not going to autopsy a carcass where the head is government response saying he removed from the body. in my opinion there s a very strong attempt not only to control and minimize

you can t autopsy a head removed from the body. in my opinion there s a very strong attempt not only to control and minimize how much oil was spilling, but now to control the evidence of the damage, the appearance of carcasses. you have sick wildlife and workers. it s the oil that s making this problem. we need obama to stand up and order respirators on all the response workers now to avert a human tragedy. on the premises that all this is being done and you re certain the things you ve seen are being done by bp and not by noaa at bp s instructions or local police at bp s instructions, whichever the formula is, what is the evidence that you can present to support your claim? i put several photographs on huffington post of a bird s head and a rake and the head being
