clock is ticking on attempting an actual rescue. u.s. coast guard estimates oxygen will run out just after 7 am tomorrow. that is less than eight hours from now. nbc s tom costello has the details. 900 miles east of massachusetts, canadian air crews continue to drop sonar buoys and report hearing unusual noise in the water, both yesterday and today. planes, ships, and drones are now aggressively searching a grid nearly sunken titanic. but so far, nothing. the navy now reviewing all sonar contacts. can you describe what the noise sounds like that they re hearing? the noise has been described as banging noises. but again, they have to put the whole picture together in context, enough to eliminate potential man-made sources other than the titanic. with me to discuss, tim taylor, undersea explorer and ceo of sub c, and , president of submerged.
i think what is happening right now is the coast guard from canada and the united states are trying to search to make sure that this thing isn t floating on the surface which anything that goes under the water is going to have what is called emergency buoyancy control to get back to the surface, but if they have lost power they don t have comms. that s one thing. the weather is not great so it s hard to find. the other this is where the capability of the coast guard is going to be able to search undersea. because the other possibility is it lost power and depth control and went to the bottom. now, it s possible that the crew survived. the vehicle does have the ability to go pretty deep, 1,00. the ocean in that area is about that deep. that s like finding a needle in a haystack and they don t necessarily the coast guard don t necessarily have the capability to find it. will: brent, what s your level as brian posited, you were in charge of the rescue attempt. how much hope would you
former president s lawyers, the fbi can expedite that process when they want to and likely they will be motivated here, but still it s reasonable for trump s lawyers to take the time they need to review these documents and to think about what they might and that s where the fight is. the government is entitled undersea but to substitute classified information if they can do that without putting the defendant in a position where he s worst off in term terms of how he can defend himself. the judge will absorb that. out jeffrey, i want to talk about the judge in the case, and i know you have served in that district before she was on the bench, but independent of her ruling in the case earlier, which was rebuked by the 11th circuit, a bunch of people pointed out today that she s pretty green. it s not her fault. she s relatively new. but bloomberg law database
