Successful applicants will have in-depth exposure to America’s society, culture, and academic institutions, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional skills. All participants will be enrolled in undergraduate full – time (ie 4 classes of 3 credits each) and can choose classes study the existing plan in the institution hostess s will was assigned by the program . It is important to clarify that this exchange is not conducive to a university degree.

2021–2022 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program – Lebanon 105SHARES The U.S. Embassy in Beirut is pleased to announce the 2021-2022 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program, a one academic semester study program in the United States sponsored by the U.S. State Department. Students will enroll in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate course work chosen from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Students will live in campus housing facilities with American peers and will be required to participate in 20 hours of community service.  The programs will start in January 2022 and students should check with their home institution regarding the transfer of credits accumulated during this program.

This program provides a scholarship for one semester of non-degree, full-time academic study at a U.S. college or university, combined with community service, professional development workshops, and cultural enrichment activities. All participants will be enrolled in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate course work chosen from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Participants will be required to take one, 3-credit U.S. studies course to enhance their understanding of the United States. Participants will live in campus housing facilities with American peers, and will be required to participate in twenty hours of community service. There will also be a virtual arrival orientation and an in-person end-of-program workshop.
