The Kano Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), said it arrested 1,064 suspects and seized 7.5 tonnes of illicit drugs between June 2022 and June 2023 in the state.
This is contained in a statement issued by the NDLEA Acting Public Relations Officer, ASN ll Sadiq Maigatari, to mark UN International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking in Kano Saturday.
