levels of radiation, and, they have now been hospitalized. the u.n. atomic agency says the situation of the damaged nuclear plant remains a serious concern but they do say that japan has told them radiation levels there are declining, at this time. meanwhile, people in tokyo have cleared shops out of bottled water after radiation levels there spiked in tap water. the japanese government had warned radioactive iodine was above safety levels for infants and shouldn t be used in milk powder mixtures and it is told now that radiation levels in tokyo s water has dropped below soft levels, and, tap water is still above what is safe for infants and japan s food products concern has gone global the u.s. was the first to ban food products from near the
continued consultation with congress. how is it affecting the president s relationship with congress? let s talk to these gentlemen about that. brad blakeman a former deputy assistant to president george w. bush and joe trippi, a fox news contributor. let me ask you, the president won the support of the arab league and the united nations and didn t win the support of congress. didn t get their official sign-off. a lot of people there on the left and the right up on capitol hill really angry about this. where does it leave the president with congress? well, look the president is the president of the united states and not the secretary-general of the u.n. it is not his job to form an international coalition and go about waging war and not advising the congress, leadership and most importantly advising the american people and those he s sending into battle, what their mission is. there is no defined mission and the president is masking his incompetence with arrogance and dismissiveness
within the country about what s happening at this plant? reporter: yeah. within the country, actually, the japanese atomic agency is saying that the chances of spent fuel going critical is extremely low, and they don t anticipate any possibility of any sort of total meltdown of the reactor cores. instead what s happened is they ve actually managed to connect electricity now to all six of the reactors. this includes reactor numbers three and four that they were extremely worried about. they managed to get a light to go on in reactor number three. so hopefully tomorrow they will start getting electricity going towards these cooling plants and these cooling facilities will once more pick up tomorrow, and things could improve quite dramatically from there. jenna: we just spoke with a scientist that said some of the aftershocks that were felt in japan, three of them this morning, that those could actually cause a problem for the
