Women now hold the key in growing E-commerce in Africa and the South-East Asia. E-commerce markets in the two regions can grow by over $14.5 billion and $280 billion respectively between 2025 and 2030,
International Finance Corporation (IFC) is already saying that this can be achieved by increasing the number of women selling on online platforms and by providing them with better training and financial support.
These facts are contained in two reports by IFC, a member of the World Bank Group.
