Today, with a post on Twitter, Marvel Studios revealed that Oscar Isaac is going to play Moon Knight on what will surely be a very weird Disney+ show, confirming rumors that we heard back in October of last year. There’s not a ton of concrete info in the reveal, which features part of Isaac’s face, various examples of Moon Knight art from the comics, and the quote “WE ARE MOONKNIGHT” attributed to Isaac, but there are still a few things we can.

In a recent interview with The Companion, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed a new production update for two of Disney+’s highly-anticipated MCU shows,
She-Hulk and
She-Hulk going into production first and will then be followed by the production start of
Moon Knight after a week.
“On March 19, as you know ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ will be debuting,” Feige said on the MCU schedule for the Disney+ shows.
“June 11 will be the debut date for ‘Loki’ and, of course, soon after that, we’ll have our first animated series, which is ‘What If …?.’ We are finishing up ‘Ms. Marvel,’ and we’re also shooting ‘Hawkeye’ currently. In a few weeks, we start ‘She-Hulk,’ and a week or so after that, we start ‘Moon Knight’ in addition to our features.”

Star Wars alum was indeed set as the lead.
