Umarex USA Inc. in Fort Smith on Tuesday announced Richard Turner as its new president and CEO.
The company, which makes air powered pistols and rifles, optics and other products for sport shooting enthusiasts, said the move was part of a long-term strategic transition plan. Its previous CEO, Adam Blalock, has been named chairman of the company board. Richard has been instrumental in the rapid and sustained growth of Umarex USA, Blalock said in a news release. He is well qualified to lead the company as CEO. Richard understands our market space and is strong strategically.
