Members of the National Assembly on the platform of the Labour Party, LP, are experiencing a tsunami at the National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal.
The Nigerian Defence Headquarters says a total of 1,755 Boko Haram terrorists and their families surrendered to Nigerian troops at different locations in the North-East region of the country between July 28 and August 11, 2022. Among the number, it said 280 of them were male adults, 523 were female adults while 952 were their children.
Nigerian Military’s operation, code-named Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), has arrested some suspects for armed banditry and kidnapping in Kaduna, Plateau and Nasarawa states. Bernard Onyeuko, Director of Defence Media Operations disclosed this in a statement on Friday. He said the suspects were arrested in different local government areas within the three states.
