KU postpones BCom Part I, II exams

The Karachi University has postponed BCom Part I and II Annual Examinations 2020, the varsity said in a notification on Monday.
The development comes after the worsening coronavirus situation in the country. In the notification, the varsity said the decision was made after the Sindh government imposed coronavirus curbs.
The university, however, did not announce a future date for the exams. The papers had been scheduled to take place on March 22, with thousands of students preparing for them.

The Controller of Examinations University of Karachi Dr Syed Zafar Hussain on Tuesday announced the results of BDS First, Second, and Third Professional Annual Examination 2020.
According to the gazette issued, 103 candidates registered and appeared in the BDS First Professional Annual Examination 2020, out of which 66 students cleared their papers. The overall passing percentage was 64.08%.
Dr Zafar mentioned that Nida, bearing seat number 205060, and a student of Karachi Medical and Dental College, obtained 572 marks out of a total of 700 marks and clinched the first position.
KU announces last date for Bachelor s and Master s open merit admission forms

Karachi University on Friday said that online applications for the open merit admission to the Master s and Bachelor s programmes for the academic year 2021 would be accepted till December 24, 2020.
All the details regarding admission policy eligibility, requirements for the departments, and a number of seats can be seen in the Admission Prospectus-2021, which is available at the web portal.
According to a statement by KU, candidates can fill and submit admission forms with scanned copies of the required documents through the online admission portal.
