that i can do for them because of the state that i am living in and the state that they are in. you know, i know how to provide care. i am a physician but i don t know a lot of the legal, um, ins ask outs. and so, we just have to make sure that we we continue to operate within the law and find how we continue to get patients to care. just so i am clear, i mean, as of today, there are would be no more abortions being provided, correct, in the state? yes, correct. as of this morning, um, we did not get the all clear that we had gotten on previous decision days. so, we knew immediately that we had to cease providing abortion care. um so, unfortunately, in our clinic, we had several patients that had come and we were only to take care of a few of the patients who had showed up to our clinic. i didn t leave this building until very late last night and i know that there was someone in my parking lot at 3:30. and um, one of the things i did was wind the camera back because i wanted to k
to ukraine, but really it remains to be seen whether they are able to maintain that support, given how brutal the russian tactics have become here. the russians are obviously trying to pummel these ukrainian cities into submission, into surrender and the ukrainians are saying, look, we are the last kind of buffer zone here between the the west and russia. who is to say that russia will stop at ukraine? so, we are not only fighting for ourselves, we are fighting for europe, we are fighting for nato. and that was also a main topic of discussion yesterday, of course, was how to protect the nato alliance against a potential russian attack even if it s accidental. top of mind for the alliance right now is the idea that a russian missile could land in nato territory. i mean, we saw just last week that a missile was missiles were attacking a city roughly ten miles from the polish border. um so, clearly, they understand the gravity of the situation and how they need to maintain support for
this recall, the initiative. it it s kind of a wild process. but to get rid of it would take a vote of the people, again, and i think it might be rather hard to get the people to give up the power because i think they like to hold the last card. so, look. i think it may be easy for some and it sounds like maybe you to write off larry elder at this point and say he can never win. but look. i mean, we had 2016. we saw donald trump win an election. um so, what are your concerns there? well, if you asked me a couple weeks ago, i might ve said well, this could be close. but it is turning, i think, on the behave philosophy of california. and that is heavily democratic. and the people who are are out of touch. they might not be out of touch with mississippi or maybe texas. but they are out of touch not with everybody in california but the vast majority. i d say, 55, 60%.
