Vanilla Wafer, who is an active member of the Montana Community Center, an LGBTQ+ organization in Missoula, came to perform to the festival after she met other members of the UM Circus Club. âI love spreading my art,â she said. âThis is hard work, and Iâm loving every minute of it.â She last performed in drag in February 2020.
The strumming and singing of Aaron Broxertman penetrated the sound of every other act at the University of Montanaâs Oval. Equipped with just an acoustic brown acoustic guitar plugged into an amp, he sang bluegrass, rock or whatever the crowd asked.Â
First Living Art Festival in Missoula entertains locals

MISSOULA â On Sunday, Missoulians were given a chance to watch some live performances for free.
The first-ever Living Art Festival served as an opportunity for folks to come out and observe various performing artists.
Among them were circus performers, musicians, and living statues.
The UM Circus Club was the organizer behind the event which took place on the University of Montana Oval.
The event was designed as an initiative to facilitate reconnection and community wellness after a year of COVID-19, according to a press release.
