The re-elected Faleata No. 4 M.P. Ale Vena Ale says he is happy with the by-election results and at being given another chance to continue his service for his district and country.Ale and his two candidate colleagues Mau’u Siaosi Puepuemai (Vaa o Fonoti) and Tuu’u Anasi’i Leota (Siumu) took comma.
The unofficial count of the ballots that have been cast in the Faleata No. 4 by-election shows the former M.P. Ale Vena Ale has reclaimed the seat after collecting 867 votes. The preliminary results show the Fa'atuatua ile Atua Samoa ua Tasi (F.A.S.T.) endorsed candidate taking the lead by a mile.
A total of 252 voters from the three constituencies heading to by-election have registered for pre-polling that starts on Wednesday morning.The elected representatives of the three constituencies of Faleata No. 4, Siumu and Vaa o Fonoti had their seats vacated after resigning from the Human Right.
