Pregnant women and people with respiratory symptoms are recommended to work from home in case of serious or prolonged fine dust pollution, the environment ministry said Tuesday.
A flexible work system, including telecommuting or taking leave on days with high concentrations of fine dust, may be implemented starting this March, according to the environment ministry, Thursday.
Prime Minister Han Duck-soo said Friday that the government will make more efforts to reduce ultrafine dust as part of its drive to tackle the rise in air pollution.
