Vredestein has launched a new range of Vorti+ and Vorti R+ performance tyres aimed at challenging Michelin’s Pilot Sport 4 and Pirelli’s P Zero. The new tyres have been designed specifically for high-performance applications, striking a balance between outright grip levels and predictable handling.
The two tyres represent a development of the current Vorti and Vorti R, each straddling more common performance rubber such as Michelin’s Pilot Sport 4 S in terms of ultimate dry weather grip. Development of the new Vorti tyres has seen an emphasis on creating stiffer sidewalls for better lateral stability under hard cornering, along with a reinforced bead for better connection to the rim.
